| Abstract: | This paper examines the incorporation of both microelectronics and micromachining (termed microtechnologies) as applied to deep space telecommunication subsystems. Using the Pluto Fast Flyby Pre-Project as a main case study we have reduced the subsystem mass by 50%. |
