| Title: | Ka-Band Propagation Research Using ACTS |
| Authors: | Davarian, F. |
| Issue Date: | Oct-1995 |
| Citation: | Int. J. of Satellite Comm. Rome, Italy |
| Abstract: | The Ka band (20-30 GHz) is being explored as a communications band because of congestion in presently used bands. The Advanced Communications Technology Satellite (ACTS) is being used to test use of the Ka band and how to deal with possible problems (e.g., rain attenuation due to shorter wavelengths). |
