| Abstract: | We compare the mixing rations of N2O, CFC-11, CFC-12, CCI4, SF6, and HCI in the mid-latitude stratosphere measured by the ATMOS Fourier transform spectrometer with in situ measurements acquired aboard the NASA ER-2 aircraft during November 1994. Good agreement is found between ATMOS and in situ correlations of CFC-11, CFC-12, and SF6 with N2O. ATMOS observations of CCI4 are approx. 15 percent higher than the ER-2 data, but within the systematic uncertainties. |
