Title: Tar Production From Biomass Pyrolysis in a Fluidized Bed Reactor: a Novel Turbulent Multiphase Flow Formulation
Authors: Bellan, J.

Issue Date: 28-Aug-1999
Citation: 4th Biomass Conference of the Americas

Abstract: A novel multiphase flow model is presented for describing the pyrolysis of biomass in a bubbling fluidized bed reactor. The mixture to biomass and sand in a gaseous flow is conceptualized as a particulate phase composed of two classes interacting with the carrier gaseous flow.
